Roblox, an online gaming platform with 79.5 million average daily active users, is rolling out improved features to give parents controls that are right for their family. On Monday, November 18, VP and Global Head of Public Policy at Roblox Nicky Jackson Colaco is available to discuss how parents can better monitor their children’s online gaming and how gaming companies are using technology to improve safety on their platforms.

Nicky Jackson Colaco has 20+ years of experience addressing the most important policy issues on the digital agenda and joined Roblox in 2020 to start and grow their Public Policy team. Prior to Roblox, she was Instagram's first Global Head of Public Policy, growing the team to support a user base of over 1B users. Before leading Public Policy at Instagram, she managed children's safety and privacy under Facebook's Chief Privacy Officer. Nicky has been featured in Wired magazine for work using artificial intelligence to address negative online interactions, and has been profiled on NPR’s Inflection Point, a program about women changing the status quo. She is the mother of two delightfully messy boys and holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
