Extreme Networks to become Wi-Fi Solutions Provider of Pro Football Hall of Fame

Extreme Networks just announced it extended its role as the Official Wi-Fi Solutions Provider of the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the next three years under a new agreement.

Highlights include:

Best in class Wi-Fi solutions at the Hall: Extreme will continue to provide networking and analytics to the Hall of Fame and museum, and help power its virtual events. Starting this month, Extreme’s Wi-Fi solutions will also support the Hall’s two Enshrinements.

K-12 education programming: Extreme will sponsor “Heart of a Hall of Famer Connected by Extreme Networks” programming in K-12 classrooms across the country — which introduces Hall of Famers to students and teachers through presentations on what it takes to achieve success on and off the field. This past school year, programming sponsored by Extreme Networks reached an estimated 30,000 participants across the country.

Extreme provides advanced networking and analytics capabilities to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and museum. In August, Extreme’s Wi-Fi solutions will support the Hall’s two Enshrinements, as well as continued efforts to bring a new generation of fans to the sport of football through community outreach and education initiatives.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s video conferencing and collaboration capabilities rely on Extreme networking solutions, enabling the Hall to extend its reach through virtual events. In 2021, the Hall’s Youth & Education Team used Extreme’s technology to support outreach to a record number of participants.

As a proud partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Extreme will sponsor “Heart of a Hall of Famer Connected by Extreme Networks” programming in K-12 classrooms across the country. In addition to enabling state-of-the-art Wi-Fi connectivity in the Hall, Extreme will help activate programming at K-12 schools within Extreme’s customer base. This effort, led by the Hall’s Youth & Education Team, introduces Hall of Famers to students and teachers through firsthand presentations on what it took (beyond athletic ability) to achieve success on and off the field. The Heart of a Hall of Famer program supports the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game” and “Promote its Values.”

This past school year, programming sponsored by Extreme Networks reached an estimated 30,000 participants across the country. As of May 6, 2021, 14 special guests – 13 members of the Hall of Fame and Cleveland Browns coach Callie Brownson, one of the trailblazing women in pro football – had spoken to 190 groups combined.

Extreme Networks also partners with the Pro Football Hall of Fame on the Hall’s #HuddleUpAmerica initiative, which uses the football huddle to symbolize how unity and inclusion can be implemented in all facets of life with an intent to unite, listen, and respect diverse opinions. Extreme’s participation is an extension of its commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.

“A flawless technology experience is a huge part of the fan experience and expectations, and it is our goal as a partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame to keep fans wanting more, whether it’s in the Hall itself or in the classroom,” said Norman Rice, Chief Operating Officer, Extreme Networks. “Through virtual and in-person events, it is Extreme’s privilege to support the Pro Football Hall of Fame in its outreach to a new generation of fans who have high expectations for wireless connectivity, insights, and experiences in every venue. We look forward to working together with the Pro Football Hall of Fame to keep these fans engaged as they continue to fall in love with everything football has to offer.”

Patricia Lindesmith, Chief Partnership Officer & Senior Vice President of Gold Jacket Relations at the Hall, said: “This partnership will further support the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s standard of excellence through best-in-class Wi-Fi solutions provided by Extreme Networks at the Hall, which will also power ‘The Greatest Gathering in Football’ when we host our two Enshrinements this weekend. We’re excited to continue to partner with Extreme to engage students, teachers and the community at large with a message of inspiration, possibility and inclusion.”
