Baseball Digest puts issue archives from 1942-2019 online for free

For a limited time only.

eMagazines is partnering with Baseball Digest and eBay this month to bring their archives to online users for free. The complete inventory of more than 800 issues between 1942 and 2019 will be available at no cost for now until July 15th.

Baseball Digest began publishing in 1942, just a few months after the attacks on Pearl Harbor. At the time, President Franklin Roosevelt told Baseball Commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis that “I honestly feel that it would be best for the country to keep baseball going.” Roosevelt felt baseball would be a source of relaxation, an opportunity for Americans to take their minds off their war work. Since then, the United States has been through several wars, recessions and deadly virus outbreaks— and Baseball Digest published and brought baseball news to you through all of them.

Baseball Digest is published six times per year by Grandstand Publishing LLC.
