L.L. Bean kicks off cold weather season with a fun and high tech vest

If you haven't seen the latest weather reports, winter has struck many part of the country. In other regions it's just starting to get colder. Those days when it starts of cool, then the temps rise a little make it a tough decision on how to dress.

L.L. Bean is looking to make things easier with their high tech and comfortable, PrimaLoft Packaway Vest.

Made with 100% recycled polyester in the shell and lining, this lightweight vest contains PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Cross Core technology, creating comfort and warmth unseen in any other synthetic insulation. The jacket is water- and wind-resistant, making it ideal for light snow and wind, and even packs away easily into its own pocket. A great buy at just $139.

This vest really does pack easily. It doesn't take up much space.

I was able to try it out and see how perfect it is for fall and into winter on a recent trip to Seattle, with morning temps in the 40s at the Space Needle.
