Adidas Terrex Two Parley shoes made with recycled materials
Reclaimed and Recycled Parley Ocean Plastic makes up one of the top new trail shoes from Adidas.
My new pair of trail shoes, the Adidas Terrex Two Parley, have been down the road and trail before. But that's a good thing as these new hikers are made with recycled materials
Since the $125 trail shoes are constructed with Parley Ocean Plastic, which has been intercepted from coastal communities before reaching the ocean and recycled into yarn, the Continental Rubber outsole provides the ultimate grip even on rocks and wet trails.
And they are comfortable.
The shoes have a foot-hugging knit upper made with yarn spun from plastic that's reclaimed before it reaches the ocean. Designed for running light trails, they have a wide fit and lightweight cushioning for comfort. They take a little while to break in, but once you do, your foot will feel right at home.
The outside appears well constructed so it shouldn't show nicks and scratches.
