VSiN to offer Sports Betting Programming on Sling
With March Madness in full swing and the MLB season and NBA playoffs on tap, more fans across the country are now able to place legal wagers on sports.
According to the American Gaming Association, 47 million Americans will bet close to $8.5 billion on the NCAA tournament this year (Forbes.com). To help you make more informed decisions on your bets, Sling TV is bringing viewers sports gambling advice, news and analysis with the launch of VSiN. Originating from the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada, VSiN offers straight-forward information on point spreads, odds and more from top personalities in sports media. As the ultimate destination for sports betters, VSiN brings an entirely new genre of content to Sling TV as more and more states are beginning to legalize sports gambling.
Available for $4/month as a standalone channel on Sling TV, VSiN features live shows like “A Numbers Game” with Gill Alexander, “Follow the Money” with Mitch Moss and Paul Howard and “My Guys in the Desert” with Brent Musburger, Vinny Magliulo and Mike Palm. Plus, get access to full replays of shows with VSiN’s on-demand content.
Current Sling Orange and/or Sling Blue customers can add VSiN to their subscription for $4/month. Returning customers on Roku devices can also purchase VSiN for $4/month – no base subscription required.
First, Sling TV moved E! and Paramount Network channels from its Lifestyle and Comedy “Extras” to its “Sling Blue” base service. While other streaming providers are removing quality programming and raising prices, we’ve added two popular entertainment channels to Sling Blue without inflating costs for our customers. Plus, Sling TV is still running a new customer promotion of 40% off Sling Orange and/or Sling Blue service for the first three months.
Second, Sling TV launched VSiN, a sports betting information channel available as an à la carte offering.
