Strackaline at PGA Show, hole location sheets at Tour Edge Demo Day
One of my favorite tech companies in the sport of golf is "all in" on Orlando for PGA Show week.
Strackaline USGA-compliant greens guides might be the key to you scoring better in 2019.
For those out at Lake Nona on Monday, Strackaline was handing out hole location sheets at Tour Edge Media Day today. Simple to use, even for the media!
StrackaLine, makes of golf’s premier greens guides, and they will be exhibiting at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show all week- showcasing its USGA-compliant greens guides to PGA professionals.
StrackaLine has scanned more than 800 courses and its greens guides enjoy widespread adoption on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Web.com Tour and by more than 300 Division I college teams.
“We look forward to showcasing StrackaLine Greens Guides to one of the game’s most important constituencies - PGA professionals,” said StrackaLine president Jim Stracka. “The use of greens guides at all levels of the game has accelerated and with the USGA’s approval of the technology, we believe that will continue in 2019. The PGA Show is an opportunity for us to expose the greens guides and the technology behind them to courses and professionals.”
StrackaLine worked in conjunction with the USGA to ensure its greens guides were in compliance with the governing body’s new interpretation of Rule 4.3 and will continue to provide its best-in-the-game greens maps to professionals and amateurs looking to improve their putting.
Golf professionals will be welcome to visit StrackaLine’s booth (No. 2816) at the PGA Show to get a tutorial on the green guides.
PGA professionals who agree to buy 100 StrackaLine Greens Guides will get their courses scanned for free. The greens maps, which feature easy to read arrows, allow players to view contour and fall lines, in addition to slope percentage, anywhere on the green. It's an invaluable tool!
