Sling News: Refer a friend and election coverage
Great news from Sling TV this week.
Sling TV launched a refer a friend sweepstakes, granting customers who refer friends to Sling TV a chance at winning a free TCL 55” Roku TV. The #SlingItOn sweepstakes runs through Dec. 5, and customers will also receive the normal perks of Sling TV’s refer a friend program ($5 off their Sling subscription for three months), in addition to entry into the sweepstakes.
Entries into the sweepstakes are unlimited, so current customers can refer multiple friends to receive multiple entries. To find out more on how to enter the #SlingItOn sweepstakes, visit the blog.
If you've missed all the political ads, you may not know today is election day. For Sling Blue subscribers ($25 a month), they can catch special election coverage all day from CNN, or add on the News Extra for $5 a month and get MSNBC and BBC World News, both channels dedicating special time for election coverage. Sling Blue subscribers can also get their local election news in certain NBC and Fox markets. Sling Orange subscribers ($25 a month) can also watch CNN’s Election Day coverage, along with BBC World News and Fusion’s special coverage on the News Extra package ($5 a month). New Sling TV customers can take the opportunity to sign up for a 7-day free trial to watch the election results at no cost. As a reminder, Sling TV is the leading live streaming TV service and the only TV provider that gives you the power to customize your service with genre add-ons like sports, comedy, lifestyle, kids, news and movies and premiums like SHOWTIME and STARZ. Subscribers can add the Extras and premium channels they want, as well as Sling TV’s Cloud DVR service, and choose from their favorite device to stream TV.
