NASCAR fans can explore the history of the Elliott Family on Heritage Website
NASCAR fans love the history of racing.
Synchronized with Chase Elliott's NASCAR throwback weekend tribute to his father Bill and the car he raced in his first career NASCAR start in 1976, the Elliott family has soft launched an Elliott Racing Heritage website at www.elliottracingheritage.com that showcases the Dawsonville, Ga.-based family’s racing legacy.
The site serves as an online archive detailing the family’s career highlights, championships, wins, and race cars driven over the last 40-plus years, starting with Bill Elliott’s first race at Rockingham in 1976 in a George Elliott-owned No. 9 race car and continuing to Chase Elliott, the reigning NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year and back-to-back Daytona 500 pole winner.
The family encourages racing fans to visit the site now and in the future as they continue to compile the family’s racing archives and roll out new content to the website, including Chase’s return to the No. 9 car in 2018 that was announced earlier. See more here.
