Parkmobile is trying to make parking easy

Time and effort is spent driving laps around lots, up and down the streets, and everywhere in between trying to find parking when you are out and about. Beyond that you have to deal with parking meters as well, whether it be guesstimating how much time you will be in the area with paying or worrying about parking tickets. A timely and smart travel solution has made finding parking in the city easier to navigate and handle, it is the Parkmobile app. Parkmobile is an innovative app that is working across nationwide to help users find parking spots in real-time and pay using their smartphones. People will no longer need to fumble with cash, coins, or even cards at machines.

Parkmobile provides a new and better way to pay for parking on your smartphone and is available for different devices iPhone, Android phones, Windows phones, and any tablet. Registration for Parkmobile can also be completed through the website at http://us.parkmobile.com/ or via the QR code found at Parkmobile signs. After you have downloaded the app and registered you will link payment to either your MasterPass, Visa Checkout, or Paypal account. You also will need to add in your license plate number into the app to identify your car along to it's parking spot, you can add up to 5 license plate numbers and 5 users to your profile. When choosing a parking spot you have a few options; you can use the app to manually choose a zone, scan the QR code where you have parked, or choose through the GPS functionality. Once the area has been selected for parking you then select the amount of time you would like to park and then press the start button to confirm the transaction. Additional time can also be added on the spot, a warning is optional to set on your phone will pop up 15 minutes prior to the Parkmobile meter expiring and one can choose whether or not to add additional time.

The Parkmobile app is meant for everyone across the U.S. whether it be commuters/residents, business travelers, and tourists alike. It is available in over 150 cities across the country as some of the sole parking provides, and the app can be used if you are driving a rental car as well. Parkmobile rolls out real-time parking availability, after opening the app, a map will appear and show the highest concentration/best chances for parking at that minute. Users can reserve parking spaces in advance in many areas, making it great for concerts or sporting events and currently available at places such as AT&T Park in San Francisco, Fenway Park in Boston, Coors Field in Denver, and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Parkmobile is in the process of launching in Dallas and New York City over the next few months, and have recently become the main parking providers on Miami Beach with over 12,00 parking spaces. Parkmobile is now the parking and ticket provider for the Golden Gate Ferry, the app provides ferry tickets when users park. It is also currently working on getting integrated into the dashboard of cars.

Parking made simple, that is what the Parkmobile app has done along through the perks available in it. It is easy to register and use, and will also save you time and money through selection of time and the amount paid for. The optional 15-minute expiration notifications help avoid parking tickets, and you are able to extend your parking session on-the-go (where-permitted). You also have the ability to view and print parking history, and can save “Favorite” and recently used zones for future reference. Look for the Parkmobile sign or sticker, use the Parkmobile app to enter in the zone number listed on the sign to start a parking session, and that is it.
