80s arcade style Serena Williams tennis game launched online
Tennis video game fans now have a new offering to check out as the 2016 U.S. Open gets underway.
It's "Serena Williams' Match Point" and it brings us back to the 1980s and your Atari 2600 video game system. Play on your mobile device by heading over to ESPN's Discover channel on Snapchat by swiping left from the main screen and do the search for ESPN. You might have to go through a few screens and then you will see something about the game, and swipe up to play. You can even play on your computer with your mouse acting as the joystick at the Gatorade website.
The graphics aren't great, but the game is responsive and addictive. There are 22 levels of play available now, one for each of Serena's major titles. A 23rd level will be added into the mix should Serena win her 23rd in two weeks. A great integration in terms of Snapchat use by Gatorade and something to do until the tennis airs on ESPN each day.
