AT&T invites customers to text 'Dallas Strong'
With AT&T's headquarters located in downtown Dallas, last night’s tragedy hits especially close to home.for the wireless giant. "Our thoughts and prayers are with those killed and injured, and their loved ones," laments AT&T in and email release.. As the community comes together to heal, AT&T will be making a donation of $50,000 to the United Way of Metro Dallas to direct to the most urgent local needs related to this tragedy. They are also offering employees a number of options to make their own donations to Dallas organizations assisting in recovery efforts. Also, AT&T wireless customers can text “Dallas Strong” to 50555 to donate $10 to the United Way of Metro Dallas’ fund to support those affected and the most urgent local needs as we work to unify our community after the July 7 tragedy. No text message fees apply. Your $10 donation will appear on your wireless bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance. Give if you can, as the country as a whole is thinking of Dallas right now. AT&T has made it a point to help those in need or mourning, when times get tough. AT&T customers always step up to the plate and help.
